Trek Overview & Secrets
Ringed by the majestic Dhauladhar circle in Kullu notch is a deep blue-water creek called Prashar. Located in the beautiful, hidden Mandi territory of Himachal Pradesh, Prashar Lake is an accurate scenic masterwork. The hiking journey follows a ravishing groove through deep forests, ancient meadows, and local mountain channels.
Along this incredible route, explorers can easily relish the warm local Himachali hospitality and rustic villages. The trek offers a jaw-dropping 180-degree panoramic scene of the snowy peaks of the Dhauladhar, Pir Panjal, and Kinnaur ranges. For those looking to enjoy history, the local mosque of Prashar Rishi next to the spring, built with iconic multi-tiered Himachali pagoda architecture, coordinates fully with the high-altitude landscape.
The Mystical Floating Island: Legend tells that the depth of Prashar Lake is mathematically infinite. A small circular island made of thick grass floating on the lake changes its position dynamically through the day, acting as an amazing natural compass for spiritual seekers.
